Session Two

Remember that fire-filled carnage from the first session? Well prepare yourself for some more unnecessary mayhem!

After pretty much demolishing the temple to Pelor in a orc-fueled conflagration, our heroes(?) decide that they don't like being poor. Yeah, level one and you have nothing... totally sorry for that. Anyway, they decide that to thrive, they need money. Thus, they venture to Ferrias's tavern to steal as much as they can.

Now, as a DM, I have to respect their wishes. Who am I to say, "No, that's dumb. Just. No." and change the topic? However, I do have the power to choose the difficulty of whatever quest they decide to endeavor.  They enter the bar and find that it's fairly packed. Of course, a challenge arises when they have no idea who is armed and with what.

However, they put a plan into action. Chuddwick decides to distract the patrons by performing a motley mess of a performance that included music, comedy, and whatever. Based on die rolls, he was successful in drawing in a few of the patrons, but not all. Jaman then went to the bar, acted innocent for all of 5 seconds, and decided to jump onto the bar and attack the bartender.

Now, it ought to be noted now that Matt has THE WORST luck sometimes with his rolls. This bar was literally like 5 feet tall or so, and he failed miserably. The bar hit his shins and he falls face-first onto it. I know I'm supposed to be a neutral moderator of the campaign, but this was absolutely hilarious!! Karma!!

So the bartender pulls out his crossbow and shoots at Jaman. Some patrons run. Some draw weapons of their own. I'll spare you the details on the fight, but it is worth noting that Jaman's HP went below 0 and that was the end of that. Guards arrived and pretty much banished these two from Ferrias for the temple disaster and now the tavern attack. So, they leave for Delos Garra.
