Session Four

This session was nothing that I anticipated and it was horrific from start to finish. You have been warned.

They began by going to the temple of Wee Jas to learn about the underworld and how to enter it. Okay, low level guys planning to go face Nerull and win, totally. They basically had little information, so the party decided to take drastic measures.

You see, at the center of Delos Garra is the city hall which also features the University of Governors. The plan was that such an institution would have scrolls and books on a variety of topics, maybe even ones about the business side of death. The only problem is that your needed to be a student or faculty member to get into the university. Well, the party doesn't give up too easily.

They waited at the gates until three students (probably sneaking out for some late night fun) arrived. The party grabbed one (the others fled), knocked him out, and tied him up with a sack on his head. They woke him up by spitting at his mask. The student, Timor, explained that only students could enter, but not very often (hence the sneaking out part). Well, the party had no use for him, so Chuddwick curb-stomped him to death and they cut off his face and made it into a mask. Yeah...

Fendir and Jaman hop the fence while Chuddwick stayed behind as lookout. Yes, they got a book on the legal proceedings regarding death and souls. Now, this is the weird part. Jaman decides to knock on the door to a dorm room and proceeds to kill the students inside. Fendir, being CG, decides to just leave and calmly walks out. Jaman throws the bodies out the window as a distraction and then goes up to the city hall part in hopes of finding scrolls. The guards don't let him pass and eventually chase him throughout the university. Jaman returns to the room and uses rope to scale out the window... right into the group of guards assessing the crime scene. Smooth.

While Fendir is walking away, Chuddwick knocks down the gate in an effort to save Jaman. That doesn't happen. Once again, Jaman is on the brink of death and both are arrested and placed in jail. Fendir goes to the elf embassy and gets the ambassador to issue an order of release for Jaman and Chuddwick. In the meantime, Chuddwick broke free and killed a guard. When Fendir arrives, the other two leave quickly before the other guard finds the dead one. With that, the party finds a caravan and enlists it to take them away from Delos Garra.
